Criminal Cases:  The prosecutors for the state, county, or federal government have their own investigative team and rely on law enforcement agencies to gather evidence, witnesses, and other pertinent information to help the state present and prosecute your case. They have unlimited resources, budget, time, and in some cases expert witnesses to assist with prosecution. State investigators will not provide these services in your defense.

Probate Cases: In cases involving wills, testaments or lack of one, legal professionals may have challenges in locating heirs or missing family members for the estate of the deceased. While due diligence is always part of this process it’s not always an easy one. Heirs, family members and associates of the deceased sometimes move far away, loose communication, or change their name due to marriage or other reasons. This may make it difficult for a court to render a disposition on an estate.
